"These are photos from a peaceful protest in Downtown Phoenix, Arizona. It was surreal to march through the streets alongside such a diverse group of protesters. In addition to the black community, there was an overwhelming amount of support from other communities that struggle with their own equality in America. In this time of great social change, these communities have sacrificed their battles to march for the black community. This is the epitome of the Black Lives Matter movement. As long as allies continue to use their power to uplift the black community, America can move closer to equality.
